Royce Osborn Melodius Thunk

Royce Osborn is a New Orleans born writer and producer who has worked more than 20 years in network and public television. His 2003 PBS documentary “All on a Mardi Gras Day” explores African retentions in New Orleans’ black carnival traditions.

Osborn documented the city’s cultural revival after Hurricane Katrina, and is currently working on a documentary on the Zulu Social & Pleasure Club. He has served as a writer/producer on the NAACP Image Awards since 1987, and is an alumnus of the American Film Institute Center for Advanced Film Studies.

‘Ozbone’ has been active with the Northside Skull & Bone Gang since 2001.
